How did you get involved with Roller Derby?

I started photographing the CT RollerGirls in 2007 for my senior photography show; after I graduated I had the time to dedicate to derby and decided to give it a shot.

How did you decide on your Derby alias?

I have the temper of an old Irish man, stay out of my path.

Your favorite thing about Roller Derby?

It is an empowering sport for women, where you're encouraged to be rough and tough. It is also a challenging sport that forces you to push yourself out of your comfort zone.

Worst injury?

Torn intercostal muscle.

Most heard saying?

“You are what you eat!”
