The league received a visit from WTNH news reporter Crystal Haynes AKA Crystal Brawler. As Connecticut Roller Girls' newest honorary member, Crystal Brawler was a great sport and donned the infamous derby knee high socks, a CTRG shirt, full gear and skates and allowed herself to be whipped into the pack by Sabotage member Miz Con SepJen.
Eleanor Bruisevelt and Miz Con SepJen from CTRG's Stepford Sabotage were invited to appear on WTNH Channel 8's CT Style program Wednesday, October 28. Miz and Elle showed the hosts some moves! You can watch the segment in the player below.
CTRG was hanging out at Foster's Restaurant on Orange Street in New Haven last week for their famous happy hour. Members from both Stepford Sabotage and Yankee Brutals were there to spend time with their fans and enjoy some excellent food and drink.
CTRG made an appearance at Meadowside School in Milford for a benefit for Nick Branca. Oakland A's Craig Breslow, Ted Koppy from WTNH, Bridgeport Sound Tigers mascot Storm and the UCONN husky mascot also came out in support of an amazing little boy and his family.
Like most derby girls (or any sane human), we love a fair! And what bigger fair is there in fall in New England than The Big E?!?
