CT RollerGirls Mission

CTRG was founded in early 2006, and we stay true to our organization's mission:

To operate as a financially sustainable non-profit all-female flat track roller derby league that fosters community, sportswomanship, and athleticism.

To represent the State of Connecticut in the Woman’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) in local, regional, national, and worldwide competition.

To have a group of strong, healthy, and diverse women that can be role models to girls of all ages.

To instill a sense of family, loyalty, hard work, and competitiveness in all of our skaters.

CTRG Game

In 2009, CTRG officially completed the long process of becoming a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. As a non-profit, we feel we can focus even more on directing our energies on growing the sport of women's roller derby in our region, as well as partner with other organizations on outreach projects in and for our local communities.
